A Sales Qualified Lead is someone who has been qualified as a good candidate for your offer, and who either has expressed interest, or you have a deep level of certainty that they might be interested.
In other words: An SQL is past the stage of marketing, and is in the phase of assessing the problem, the urgency, the need and the problem-cost.
As such, SQLs are your highest value leads, and they're usually the opportunities you want to prioritise.
